The Bottos family came to America from Greece in 1969, landing in Philly and quickly making their way to West Chester, where they new they intended to build a business. After settling in the area, the family found an old bakery at 18 S Church Street that they renovated and turned into a pizza shop. The original New Haven Pizza opened its doors in 1970.
The Bottos family ran the shop from their original S Church Street establishment for 40 years until an opportunity to move a block north and into the true heart of town presented itself. In 2010, New Haven Pizza opened at 18 N Church Street.
Still run by the Bottos family to this day, New Haven pride themselves on serving the original Greek pizza, alongside an entire menu of fresh-cooked, made-to-order items, all at reasonable prices. Stop in and give them a try.
